MATH
This year we will be utilizing My Math. Assignments will be given throughout the week (These will be listed in agenda). Students will almost always be given work time in class and should be able to get a good start, and most likely finish, all assignments before coming home. Workbooks will be sent home for students to write in as needed. Guidelines will be listed in the Math Notebook. It is highly encouraged that students practice flashcards/XtraMath each night for fact mastery.
SCIENCE
We will largely be using a program called Mystery Science! It incorporates a variety of videos, discussions, hands-on activities and experiments.
CLASS PARTICIPATION
The easiest way to show us that you understand is to participate in class! It is important for us to know that you understand or are confused. Don’t be afraid to participate. Making mistakes is all a part of learning!
We can’t wait for a GREAT year together!!! :)
