Mr. Sloman’s Classroom Expectations
Respectful
- Respect your teacher, your classmates, and yourself
- When I am talking you are listening
- When a classmate is talking you wait your turn quietly and respectfully
Responsible
- Come to class prepared for the day (book, homework, folder, agenda, pen/pencil)
- Be ready to start class when the bell rings (pencils sharpened, books out, restroom breaks taken care of)
- Have homework completely done when you come to class. If it is not done it is late. It will still be accepted for half credit up until the start of class the next day. After that it is a zero!!
Safe
- Keep your hands and feet to yourself, which includes anything you are holding in your hand.
- Do not throw anything. You don’t want to be the one that put someone’s eye out.
- Please do your best to keep the aisles clear
Consequences
- Verbal Warning
- Verbal Warning with parent notification
- Thirty minute after school detention
- Referral to the office
