Hello! My name is Mrs. Lori Mulacek. I will be your child’s teacher this year and I wanted to let you know a little about myself.  I was raised in Virden and graduated from Virden High School. I have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a certification in Elementary Education, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Illinois at Springfield. I have taught at North Mac Intermediate and Girard Elementary since 1995. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.

I am really looking forward to a great year of providing your child with a valuable education. As you know, your child’s education is extremely important to their success in life. You, as parents, play a very important role in that success. With the knowledge I have about educating children and the knowledge you have about your child as an individual, we can work together as a team to provide your child with the best education possible! I know we will have an AWESOME year!
