I have had the privilege of teaching in the North Mac School District since 2011. I began my career teaching 1^st grade, but I have also taught 3^rd, 4^th, and now 5^th grade. Currently, I teach Reading, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.  I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2011 with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  I received my M.A. in Educational Leadership from UIS in December of 2016. Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with my family, go to the movies with friends, and read. I also love to cheer on the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues! I screamed for joy when the Blues won their first Stanley Cup Championship in 2019! I truly enjoy watching my students grow, learn, and explore. I hope to encourage a love for learning in all of my students!
