I received my associate degree in arts from Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois in 2019 with a sculptural ceramic focus. During my time attending heartland, I also gained my EMT licensure and was named an all-American athlete as the Women’s Soccer team Goalkeeper.  Since, I have been privileged to be an assistant coach to the NM High School Girls Soccer team. 

 Following my Associates degree, I attended Illinois State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Art Education with teaching licensure in pre-kindergarten- 12^th grade visual arts. Following Graduation, I returned to my hometown Girard, where I now live and continue to work as an EMT with Prairieland Ambulance Company. I am an active member in the National Art Educators Association. In my spare time, I love getting outdoors in any way I can and of course making my own art. I’m beyond happy to come back full circle to my former high school as an educator!
